Strise is a fast-growing scale-up based in Oslo. We have built groundbreaking Know Your Customer (KYC) Intelligence System to help banks fight financial crime. Our AI technology connects insights about B2B customers providing valuable information to major financial institutions such as SpareBank 1, Danske Bank, and Nordea, to mention a few. Strise makes an impact by making it easier and faster for banks to fulfill their social mission of uncovering financial violations such as money laundering. After successfully becoming trusted by some of the biggest financial institutions in Scandinavia and more than tripling our revenue since the beginning of 2021, we are now planning to expand internationally moving towards our goal of becoming the leading KYC Intelligence System globally.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team of highly skilled and motivated software engineers. You will be responsible for building intuitive and visually appealing bringing our pioneering KYC platform to the global market and working closely with our design and product team to take our products to the next level in terms of scale, performance, and customer value. Going out of your comfort zone to explore a new idea, testing a new library, or simply giving a facelift to an old module, will all be part of your job.

This position is based in Oslo, Norway

What you will do:

• Work cross-functionally with the product, design, and development team to maintain and deliver new features to make Strise the leading KYC platform.
  

• Hands-on development and maintenance of frontend applications using modern technologies such as TypeScript and React, as well as fixing bugs, testing, and implementing updates.
  

• Take a proactive approach to breaking down projects into individual tasks and provide valuable contributions so projects are delivered on time.
  

• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development.
  

• Contribute to a knowledge-sharing environment and be part of a development team that is passionate about technology.
  

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that is optimized for performance and scalability.

To succeed in this role, we believe you need:

• 3+ years of work experience with web development.
  

• Excellent skills in TypeScript/React, and experience within one or more of the following technologies: GraphQL & Apollo, Node.js, Styled Components, Cloud Functions.
  

• You are passionate about technology and enjoy learning and sharing about emerging technologies and tools.
  

• You enjoy working with an evolving product in a scale-up environment and are motivated by testing out new ideas and finding new solutions. Experience from a start-up/scale-up is a plus.
  

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  

• Education in computer science, computer technology, or another relevant field is desirable.
